Checked their bandcamp.
Mainstream-y rock / ballad, good stuffs indeed but sound not Neo for me.
Fitter for Crossover?

Steve, comments?

Well, it most certainly belongs here, but I would think it would have a far better chance in Crossover, so sent there for first eval.

I can't imagine a no vote, but, if so, I would be prepared to vote yes in neo just to get it on the site. Hopefully that won't be necessary.

The description "Classic Prog" might be appropriate in this case.  This is definitely music that is akin to the earliest examples of Prog.

Well a 'no' vote there was...and they were indeed ceremoniously dumped on their backsides:

Can't remember ever listening to this when it was first posted, so I've got the 'Rain' album playing on bandcamp now...not that anything can be done to help, I don't suppose. Ermm

Edit: Oh yes it can!! - The 'Rain' album was only released today! Big smile Previously there was only an EP of that name (from May 2012), and an album called 'The Wait' (Nov 2012).

A re-evaluation can be done based on the new album - but it would need a unanimous 'yes' vote by the team to get them in (it certainly doesn't sound like a Neo Prog candidate to me - based on the first three tracks at least...but I'll carry on listening to it...  Cool)

Doesn't seem to me as though they got a fair crack of the whip, Steve. One no vote, and that was it... Unhappy
They will hopefully fare better this time around, based on the new album. LOL

And there's an extremely positive review of the new 'Rain' album here: http://progarchy.com/2013/11/13/a-powerful-and-moving-piece-of-work/" rel="nofollow - http://progarchy.com/2013/11/13/a-powerful-and-moving-piece-of-work/ .

This band is definitely worth a second look (listen) in my opinion...Anyone from the Crossover team passing through? Embarrassed

I don't care about  crossover or Neo or ... This band is a ProgRock band.

I just read an article in Prog Rock magazine regarding this album and saw that a couple of writers included it in their top 20 releases for 2013.  I'm going to give it a listen this afternoon, but based on the article at least, it sounds like they are a prog band that should be added somewhere here.  Article said that influences were Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree.
