My favorite from the list is Circumstances, but for the most underrated, I'll go with Kid gloves.

Circumstances is my favoirte Rush song, so I was tempted to vote for that, but I know a few other people who love it and they did play it when I saw them live, so I guess it's not too underrated. Vital signs is my favorite track off Moving Pictures and doesn't get much love, but the album as a whole is so highly praised that I had to vote for Losing It, which brings me to tears almost every time. It's so beautifully sad.

P.S. Kid Gloves is rubbish.

Grace Under Pressure is my least favorite Rush album, so i agree with Llama.

The Necromancer imo. One of their best songs ever, brilliant.

Losing It and Bravado are close, but I had to vote for Lessons, as it's not the best song on this list but is so criminally under-appreciated by fans that the hard-to-quantify distance between how good the song is and how good people think it is is so large as to be unfathomable.

BU2B?  I think that one is overrated.  A good song, but really, couldn't Alex have thought of something better to play than the tonic and third over and over and over again?

I liked it, but it didn't come anywhere close to living up to the hype.  I mean, come on, we get promised an epic title track and we end up with a measly little 7 minute song with a couple time changes, a long intro, and an acoustic bridge?  I think CA is a great track but it wasn't what we were expecting.  In my opinion, it's a very good hard rock/alternative album, but a disappointment for prog fans who were expecting more.

Most definitely.  It's a pity that one of the most unique, groundbreaking, and daring albums of the 21st century gets ignored by so many fans.

Hmm...tempted to say first half because Nocturne is just a little weaker than the other tracks...but the second half has Earthshine, Secret Touch, and Out of the Cradle.

I wish they would play some of these songs live.

You don't agree that Grace Under Pressure is Austin's least favorite Rush album?  Have you done brain scans on him to prove otherwise?

Taking "underrated" to be entirely meaningless on a prog site, I voted Circumstances anyway

Not sure but Lessons stood out from the list just because its side two of 2112 which is overlooked a tad.

Also Vapor Trails in its entirety as already mentioned is very underrated

Tricky. I voted The Necromancer. Circumstances is also a great song.

A few more overlooked songs that sprang to mind:

Grand designs
Open secrets
Available light
Ghost of a chance

On the list there are many.......I picked Manhattan Project, I have always enjoyed that song and what it stands for. not on the list I would have to pick Secret Touch. That song has so much going on in it, a roller coaster, beast of a song!

Natural Science from Permanent Waves. One of their last epics, but I voted for Witch Hunt anyways because it's one of my favorite Rush tracks.

Circumstances is a fantastic, rocking song. Gotta headbang to that awesome song. Though, if Madrigal was on the list, I would've chose it.

Not familiar with most of Rush's work, but I saw "Witch Hunt" on the list and just had to vote for it. One of my favorite Rush songs. Is it unpopular among fans?

Posted By: Fox On The Rocks

Hardly underrated per se, but my favourite from list has go to be Leave That Thing Alone. That song, and that album just makes their whole entire 90's era worth while for me. DAT BASS - scrumptious. Big smile I'm glad they brought it back on the set lists for the recent tours, and hopefully more to come. Runner up would have to be Losing It for sure.

I know Dream Theater's played it live more recently (of course), though I couldn't tell you where or when, nor do I even remember how well they performed it. I just watching it on youtube.

The fact that nobody has said Between the Wheels yet is nothing short of criminal in my opinion. Such a strong emotional range, compelling lyrics, haunting melodies and harmonies...that song has it all. That's where my vote would go.
