To my mind, Giltrap has recorded some truly progressive albums : Visionary, The peacock party (feat. Ian Mosley, Morris Pert, Richard Harvey of Gryphon fame, John G. Perry who played with Anrthony Phillips) : a true sympho-prog masterpiece. Hi: If you like Gordon Giltrap, I recommend you seek Paul Brett's "Eclipse" or "Interlife". None of them are great, but both have some good moments and I find some similarities with Giltrap, especially in the first one (the title track is excellent, by the way, although the rest of the LP is not up to it). I think they are not in CD, and I got mine in a second hand lp shop. Regards |

Symphonic would be fitting for him. He is a bit too polished for my taste, but that does not speak against his addition. I see some similarities with Andreas Vollenweider, by the way, although they play different instruments.

I see him more as PR than as Symphonic, if any, he was already rejected and I agree with that, I don't believe he belongs here. His music is a crossing between Classical (Neo Classical not Symphonic), Folk (Not Folk Prog, pure Folk), Pop, New Age (Polished New Age, but New Age) and Rock. Please, tehere are lots of musicians who played Classical without the need to be Symphonic. I will discuss it with the team anyway. Iván -------------

He's one of these cgaracters that belongs in Prog Related, just by whom he played with
