This happened way back in September but I haven't seen a thread to address this yet.

What do you guys think about this. I'm a little sad, but I'm hoping it will give Cedric a chance to release some solo material.

It's quite sad, though Cedric's new project, Anywhere, is great. 
I believe he plays drums on the album as well.

I wish all these bands like Porcupine Tree, Oceansize and now Volta would go on hiatus BEFORE releasing their weakest record

I found the last album uninspired, so itīs no great loss in my world. Lots of internal turmoil in the band in the last couple of years, so itīs no surprise.
