My nod to Jack Johnson was just even up the voting at (currently) five each...guess you'll have to listen to each of them!

Get Up With It has the most variety, this album influenced Brian Eno, especially "He Loved Him Madly" "Calypso Frelimo" is a slab of jazz funk. "Rated X" is a forerunner to drum and bass. even some straight ahead blues rock, and smooth jazz styles are on this. |

Haven't listened to these in a while to be quite honest, but they're are all great records, especially from this specific era of Miles. I really like On The Corner - dirty, dirty record - In A Silent Way is another favourite. Probably going to go with IAW - just behind Bitches for my favourite Miles. -------------
