OK this is a bit of a silly poll, but I'm a middler.  I parted on one side as a kid but damned if I can't tell you guys which side until I dig up a photo.  For some crazy reason I was noticing parts and I don't think this has been polled yet. LOL

I've been wearing my hair short enough that I haven't used a comb or brush in years.  So it's not really parted either way, it just kind of sits there on the fence.

It's kind of funny because I often let my hair go long and then go short, but I still part, though when it's short I may not. LOL

I have a natural sort of "valley" on my head due to a receding hairline, creating a "V" which I guess passes for a part now.

I generally keep my hair short enough that it doesn't need a part.

Mine isn't short but I also dont part it...its just curly, so it can't part. And as it grows it gets bigger and jewfro-ier

None atm. Too short to part.

When I let it grow out I parted it in the middle.

In England in the 1960s it was a convention that boys parted their hair on the left and the girls on the right, failure to do so would result in relentless playground taunting and much misery. Quite why this should be is a mystery but may have something to with why shirts and jackets button left over right for men and right over left for women, but the reasons for that aren't clear either. The only place where gender-biased handedness makes any sense is in sleeping bags.

My hair naturally parts on the left, even though since it is long and has been for over 25 years I purposely part it in the middle, each morning when I step out of the shower I have a left parting.

My hair is naturally parted on the left half, so I part it on the left half by hand, with a comb, or with a brush. There was a time when my barbers would come up with their own ideas on how my hair could be arranged, but I would always "correct" them just by showing them that I prefer to part my hair on the left half, on the left half, ... [whoosh] ... like that.

I think it's got something to do with discipline, even if on the first thought it may seem like a silly little thing that doesn't matter. Why do I have to have the fork in my left hand and the knife in the right hand? Something for me to Google about.

As a kid my mother parted it at the left side of my head.
When I grew older, I combed it all backwards, no parting (in the 1980's).
Then, when that was out of fashion, I parted it in the middle, and I still do.

Really? I must have missed that.

These days I dream of having enough hair left to part anywhere.

My hair's long enough now that I could probably get away with parting it in the middle, but it's usually the flipped to my left - has been for the past couple of months. I use to let it all hang down, but my bangs eventually got below my eyebrows, and that's just uncomfortable and unappealing. Big smile

My hair parts in a natural way, which has features of both middle and bald. Yet I'm not entirely bald in the middle. So I go for the middle.

Back when I had hair it was parted in the middle (70s) and later the left (80s). Anymore I just part with $14 every week to have it shaved.

LOL So 80's! I could probably pull that off if I let it grow out more. Cool Well my hair is definitely not that long - think of a much shaggier, much longer, Paul McCartney cut - I don't have luscious locks yet, let's just say that. Wink Who is that anyways?

Ermm Honestly I don't know my hair parting. Throughout the day it could be left, right, middle or it could be no hair pairing at all. My hair has always been too unruly and rebellious to any kinds of hairstyles or haircuts.

like Dean said, Europeans usually parted on the left in the 60's and 70's... I did as a childhood

Arrived in Canada, I parted naturally like everyone in the middle (peer pressure maybe??)... it just seemed natural

but ever since I've been 30, I've parted on the left again (I guess upon my return in Europe)...; but now having parted that way for the last 20 years, it looks like it'll naturally part that way, despite a still-very-absent receding hairline

anyway centre-left is my natural political current/nature, so it looks like it's linkedCoolApproveBig smileLOL
