So many incredible bands on this list, my favorite is Can followed by Faust, Magma, Amon Duul II, and Gong.

Edit: Oh, and Egg of course.

Greenslade

Gryphon and Greenslade are the only bands on there I regularly listen to, but Gryphon get my vote as Dave Lawson's vocals don't do it for me.

Frumpy is perhaps too little known to be voted for. I advise everyone to look them up on YouTube. Inga Rumpf is one of the greatest female singers ever, and the musicians are all excellent.

Gong. I also love Hawkwind.

-------------
I am currently digging:

Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!

Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

My two favorites are tie at the top (Gong and Magma) so my vote goes to Univers Zero (even though I've listened to Frumpy just yesterday)

In polls like these where it's pretty much impossible to pick just one i usually give a vote to one of my favourites that doesn't have one yet. The problem is that Amon Duul II, Ash Ra Tempel and Embryo all have no votes.Shocked
Guess i'll go with Amon Duul II this time.

Is "Aera" in the poll supposed to be "Area", by any chance? I like them a lot too.

I commonly do the same, and/or give it to one whose album I have listened to the most recently.  Late last night I was listening to Popul Vuh's Seligpreisung, so will give Popul Vuh a  vote.

Magma is excellent !
I saw them 4 weeks ago in Bordeaux, France.
It was amazing. I particularly liked the live version of Felicite Thosz, their last album.
But my vote will go to Gong
