Very easy choice for me, Yes.
I don't know man, obviously I must be missing something, because OT's covers do get a fair deal of praise, yet I can't for the life of me see 'it'. Their covers are perhaps the least interesting about them. Maybe it's to do with faux colours or the bad 90s graffiti style they still go for, but I genuinely do not like them.
Roger Dean on the other hand

Admittedly, I was very very drunk yesterday(this morning too), but I fail to see the attraction in this one(Sorry AgiEmbarrassed):
I do adore the album though...

Dean all the way. Ozric's covers look a bit amateur-ish to me sometimes. Nothing against the band's music though.

Yes. As much as I like some of the Ozrics' artwork, the covers of Relayer and Tales from Topographic Oceans beat them.

Ozric's have some good ones for sure, like The Yum Yum tree, but others look really cheesy and amateurish (1995-2006)

The Ozrics have some covers I like a lot, like these three:

Whimsical stuff...but Roger Dean is hard to beat! I'll vote for both, though.

I don't know Tom, I just think of those bad graffiti pieces in the school yard growing up.

I voted Yes for those great covers by Roger Dean, but not all of them are like that.  And there are some Ozric covers I like better than some Yes covers.

I think Ozric Tentacles have more good album covers than Yes, and OT never showed a man's behind. Both these bands have bad album covers, though "The Hidden Land" by Ozrics is by far the worst.

Both have some beautiful, but also some really bad ones. Going with OT, as their lows aren't as low as Yes'. The Yes ones from '78 to '87 are absolutely dreadful, IMO.

Can only vote for both....I really didn't expect the Ozrics to be quite so far behind!

Even their more average albums (which are still decent!) still have wonderful artwork!

When I first saw the cover of `Waterfall Cities' on my friend Tom Ozric's vinyl copy, it blew my mind! So that was the first Ozrics albums I bought....yet on lowly CD format! :(

I recall your excitement when your saw that one.  I was fortunate enough to be part of the too short-lived Ozric Fanclub - still got all the 'Ozracles' and freebies that came with it all.  The opportunity to have W.C. and Hidden Step on vinyl was only possible by pre-ordering and pre-paying months before they materialised.  Anyway, getting back to the artwork topic - check out that multi-clolour swirly sky on Pungent Effulgent, or dig those Erpmen smoking spliffs on a bus (Live Underslunky).  I did take the 'both' option.

Though I love some of Yes's album covers vastly, I think that the Ozrics had more consistency.

-------------
I am currently digging:

Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!

Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

just a question, did the art creator for Ozric create the art for Voivod as well?
