Well Snowie, for example, the Golden Gate Bridge is responsible for spamming San Francisco and Marin County...
The Poniatowski Bridge spams the two halves of Warsaw...
And finally - no Tower Bridge spam = more London traffic jam So you see, Snowie, no need to worry, spamming is basically bridging unnecessary gaps in communication, a highly commendable activity

I don't mind spamming if the thread lends itself to it - like the Mariah Carey thread. Yes I see what you mean. But it was a two way conversation that just kept going and maybe got out of hand. Nobody filled the page up with smileys and made the page big though, and it was intended to be humourous!
