Hello, I just became a member on this amazing forum about Prog Rock. I've been listening to some Prog acts for some year and a half, the first Prog artist I started listening to was Pink Floyd, then I fell in love with King Crimson and currently I'm exploring Genesis, Dream Theater, Tool, Yes and Rush. I wish more and more people get to know Prog because I personally find it very beautiful.

Peace!Smile

I.d like to add that those with an interest in exploring might bookmark http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/index.php" rel="nofollow - Progstreaming right away. Just be sure to not have too much money available when exploring the music they put up there for inspection :-)

Quite a lot of prog on Spotify, as well as related music. I made a http://transubstansonspotify.blogspot.no/" rel="nofollow - very simple blog with Spotify players covering Swedish label Transubstans not too long ago, you should probably find some decent music there.

Use the search "label:Musea" in Spotify to find a few more items of prog to inspect.

Welcome!  Looks like we like a lot of the same things!  My buddies and I have done some radio shows on the local NPR station, and coming in May we're going to do a 2 hour historical overview including Yes, Kansas, Tull, Rush, DT, etc.  Should be fun!  Private message me if you want links to our old shows!  I'll be posting soon about the upcoming show in the radio section.

Welcome.  :)  Tool is my favourite band actually and has been for years.  Check out my project Hibernal (link in the sig) if you feel inclined, there's a fair bit of Tool influence there.

Hope you enjoy the forums!
