Two very obscure heavy prog bands from seventies who played music with generally dark lyrics, both recorded one album. Necromandus had their 'Orexis of Death' LP unissued until 1999, Dr.Z album 'Three Parts to My Soul' was released in only 80 copies in 1971 and remained unreissued until 1991.

Which band you prefer?

I go with Dr.Z. A real overlooked masterpiece. Necromandus seem to me very generic and not very interesting.

Then I highly recommend you Dr.Z, their album is a real gem.

Though Necromandus might be interesting because of Tony Iommi participation as a producer and also guitar player on one track.

Dr. Z is definitely worth checking out. Don't know the other band so I won't vote.
