I don't know about best, but I certainly enjoy listening to Jarre more. Listening to some Eno stuff is like listening to paint dry or the grass grow lol ------------- A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!! |

Eno is more innovative and one of the World's really nice people (and I've met him in a capacity totally unrelated to music) but I do prefer Jarre's music. ------------- A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life. |

I prefer listening to Jarre a lot more than to Eno. In the greater scheme of things, Eno's work is much more influental than Jarre's. But tbh I don't really get the choice between the two, they are hardly related to each other musically. ------------- -there's someone in my head but it's not me- |

I'm surprised at those who say listening to Eno is some kind of chore. I just wonder if they've heard Another Green World, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy), Here Come the Warm Jets, Before and After Science, or some of his shorter-form instrumental albums such as Music for Films and Apollo: Soundtracks. I find him to be a pop singer/songwriter (in the sense that the best of Floyd is pop music - that is, melodic, tuneful, and full of great hooks) - which is a high compliment.

Yes, "Deep Blue Day," I love that song. It's also featured in the film Trainspotting (brilliant soundtrack, btw), when Ewan McGregor dives into the toilet and is swimming around... Such a beautiful song,  |

Eno is by far the most versatile, so I vote for him. But Jarre's debut is excellent. -------------
