A bit easier this time, my vote definitely goes for Counterparts !

I don't own any of these any more, but I'm tempted to go with Roll the Bones just because I was so pleasantly surprised to hear "Dreamline" at their latest concert and was struck by how good it sounds today.

Anything but Presto! I voted Roll The Bones only because it didn't have a vote. That , Counterparts an Test For Echo formed a trilogy in my mind. They were a big reason I got back into this band having got a bit bored with Hold Your Fire and Presto.

No vote, I rest my case. Presto was a disappointment, Roll the Bones a deception. I never felt the need to her the other two, not even tomorrow.

Counterparts is the easy number one, and one of my favorites from Rush. Roll the Bones starts off great, but kinda slows down. Presto is pleasant. Test for Echo is my least favorite here, and rarely am I in the mood to listen to it.

Rush totally lost me with "Power Windows", "The Big Money" being the only song I liked.  Years later, I read a review saying "Test For Echo" was a return to an older approach so decided to give it a try.  It's still miles away from the golden era of 2112/Farewell/Hemispheres but I love the songs "Dog Years" & "Half the World" so it get's my vote.

I voted Counterparts, but come to think of it... I might just like Presto a bit more

Test for Echo, which generally does poorly in these kinds of polls, but now it is in second place.

I find all four of these albums to be about equal.

Rush doesn't make bad albums, but these are less than top of the line for sure.

I don't see why everyone says Counterparts is so much better than the others,

I'll vote for Test for Echo I guess.

Presto! IMO the next three albums showed Rush in decline.

Counterparts, although Presto is a damn fine album IMO.

Roll the Bones is OK, Test for Echo mediocre with some tracks just plain bad.

I think there are some great songs on Presto. The worst thing about it, in my opinion is the production, which I find to be very weak.
