Haven't posted in quite a while, but I just found this video from NAMM I thought was interesting.
I see the guy in the video end up actually strumming this instrument though which sort of makes me question whether or not it would even be worth buying.  True you can emphasize tapping with it but in a normal rock band setting that would be somewhat limiting. Either way I don't have $700 to send of to Belgium anytime soon. 

Anyone else have any opinions on this?

I've actually seen a couple videos of people playing a Kelstone on YouTube and it seems to be pretty versatile.

If they don't go under, I could see Kelstones gaining some popularity (probably in indie music first). I'd love to hear some effects on one. LOL Maybe a  djenty pickup too... hmm...
