Crutches runs the heck away with it for me, but oh how I wish I could vote for every track on that album. Discipline is criminally good.

This. I really like Godspeed and Mogwai, but they aren't prog. I'm not convinced that post-rock/math-rock should compete in this prog poll... Or, competing in it's fine - but I'm not convinced they should win, LOL

If there's any cosmic justice, Discipline should run away with it this year Wink

Trial of tears. A highlight on an otherwise, mediocre album from DT.

Agreed.

You should pick up the Ytsejam Records 2-disc demo version of the album, much less mediocrity there Tongue I think that version of Lines In the Sand beats Trial of Tears, which is clearly the best song on the final cd. Not to mention Raise the Knife, complete version of Burning My Soul, etc.

There is no cosmic justice, and only very little earthly justice, if any.

I seem to be in a minority on liking Lines in the Sand more than Trial of Tears on FII.
