Hey Guys,
Just posting to offer my group for inclusion at Prog Archives. We're called Within a Reverie. We just released our self-titled, debut album (Within a Reverie) and it is available for streaming on Bandcamp.
Album Personnel: Joe Marx - Vocals Nick Dilley - Guitar, Bass, Vocals Andy Hector - Percussion, Vocals
Short Bio: Within a Reverie is currently a studio project (think Shadow Gallery) spread between Minneapolis, the greater Chicago area, and the Peoria (IL) area. At one time the band was also operating out of Austin, TX. Nick Dilley is the driving force behind the group, but other members and contributors have included Andy Hector, Joe Marx (currently with Agora Forte), and Nick Ford (currently with Semeron). Within a Reverie is currently in the process of recording our second album, Speaking Through Prisms, which will also include a few song collaborations with outside musicians. Within a Reverie's major influences include Nobuo Uematsu, Bob Dylan, Megadeth, Claude Debussy, Thelonious Monk,
Rush, Fernando Sor, Metallica, Louis Armstrong, The Alan Parsons
Project, In Flames, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, King Crimson and various artists from the
music scenes of the 60's and 70's.
Thanks guys!

Yeah, it's heavy veering towards metal at times but also alt-rockin' and the conscious verse / chorus thing puts it closer to Crossover imo. Quite an ambitious project these fellas are setting out on, be interesting to see how their sound develops over time.

Thanks for listening! Yeah, I'd agree with the crossover evaluation (even though it's not up to me )--but heads up! Our verse/chorus affair is only for one more project!
Thanks again for checking us out!

I hope it's not too annoying to keep chiming in, but if it helps people make a genre distinction, here's a performance video from an upcoming project:
