Yes have announced the dates for their 2014 European tour, when they will perform three classic albums in their entirety, as they are will doing in North America during July and August this year.

The tour kicks off at the New Theatre in Oxford on April 29. The rest of the shows are Southend Cliffs Pavilion 30, Glasgow Clyde Auditorium May 2, Newcastle City Hall 3, Birmingham Symphony Hall 4, Leicester De Montfort Hall 6, Sheffield City Hall 7, London Royal Albert Hall 8, Manchester O2 Apollo 10 and Bristol Hippodrome 11.

The band will then perform shows throughout France, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium and The Netherlands, from May 13-22.

Yes will be playing the whole of The Yes Album, Close To The Edge and Going For The One.

“We’ll be performing pieces we’ve rarely played live,” says bassist Chris Squire. “In fact, I believe the one song we never performed in concert before our three-album tour is A Venture from The Yes Album.”

To be quite honest, i would  have to think about going  to see a Yes concert even if they comped the tickets and gave out free beer.

Why are they doing this tour still? Write a new album, record a new album, then release a new album. Tour after that.

I wish they'd come to Cardiff again. Still...I might go.

Not really interested in seeing them without Jon.

Time and time again people whinge about them touring again without making a new album. Fly From Here was not so long ago :-)

The Cure did a trilogy concert some years ago in Berlin I think, Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers played in their entirety. I think this is a great way for Yes to gig playing three albums front to back. Wish they were here.

I think that you are confusing Yes with Pink Floyd. Wink

I struggled about going when they played Seattle early this year.....I really wanted to see Jon sing those 3 albums. I am glad I did not go, some of the reviews I read were not very glowing.
I just finished watching on AXS Concert TV their concert from a few yrs ago, they did some acoustic stuff and it was really good to see and hear Jon and Rick playing with the others.

I would go see that.....as well as a new album tour with Jon and Rick.

I'm still hestitating: maybe 51 euros is not that expensive to see Yes, but an Anderson-less Yes...
