Sorry-- we try to welcome everyone but sometimes we miss a few. Great to have you, I'm not from Denver but my Mom lived in Glenwood Springs for much of her childhood.

Welcome, as for my progressive rock history, I'd got immersed in Yes at first indeed.

Used to visit yesfans a few years ago but haven't in ages ... don't even remember my old username. xD
If you are from Denver, you are in a land of great music ... a number of bands I am interested in are from the area. Of course there is the obvious Denver area avant prog like Thinking Plague and Hamster Theatre, but also the Denver Sound / Gothic Americana scene with bands like Munly, Slim Cessna's Auto Club, and Woven hand is quite interesting. Do you see a lot of great live music there?

Welcome. I tend to post a video as my welcome greeting. In this case, I'm opting for a vid by a US band, hope you like 'em.

Nice to meet you. Yes! Denver is just loaded with tons and tons of live music. I haven't fell into the local prog group yet. I would love to take this state by storm with my own prog music. It's hard to find decent and dedicated musicians now-a-day no matter where one lives from my experience. *sigh*

I live in lakewood as well. 6th and Kipling area. We should meet up sometime and have a beer. Maybe load up the internet jukebox with prog music and watch people's reactions.
You ever hang out at the Frontier bar? I used to sing karaoke there right when I moved to the area a year and a half ago.

I live about two blocks south of Frontier Inn, if that's what you are referring to (or even if you aren't)! Don't hang out there, though. (Neither a drinker nor a sociable person. )
