Well, I feel like I've been around here long enough now that I'm comfortable throwing this in front of you.

We think what we've done here is really unique. You won't listen to it and say "Oh yeah, that's Prog." I think most people don't know what to make of it.

This is a concept album based on the 1908 book by Kenneth Grahame. The vocals are all derived from an audio book, read by Adrian Praetzellis. We make the music up as we go along. We do quite a bit of post-production and rearranging but with the exception of the voices what you hear was recorded live by the two of us. All the layering is done with loops rather than overdubs.

We are well beyond the point in our lives where we want to be rock stars so we offer our music for free. That way our music will stand on it's own, with no fame or monetary forces influencing it's direction.
We would like to hear what people think of it though, even if it's negative.

Thanks Jason -
If you happen to be one who appreciates something real more than downloaded ones and zeros, here's a shot of the handmade CD we send to people who request it.

Wow!  That's quite impressive.  I love the parchment look.  Where can I get one of those copies?

PM me your address and I'll send you one. I always tell people If it turns out to be not your cup of meat just pass it on to someone else.

A long time ago I was reading an interview in Option magazine or Sound Choice (sorta underground music zines) and the interviewee said he was influenced by Bat Lenny (another band I'm involved in). I couldn't believe it. I knew I never sent him a tape (it was all about cassettes at the time). There was no internet to speak of yet and we sure weren't being played on the radio except for some obscure radio shows on some obscure indie stations scattered about. So I contacted him and asked where he heard us, and he said someone gave him a tape but he couldn't remember who it was.

So you never know.
