Interesting new band that I've come across who I would recommend for PA here.

I can't really describe the music although I would say that they sound similar to a speeded up ELP in places. Perhaps "Beggars Opera"'ish as well Their album "Out of the Barnyard" is really interesting. I would say that it's a shoe-in for Neo Prog.

From official site (not rated by McAfee):

Born after an ear splitting explosion and devastating fire at the former Sunnydale Farm (& Gift Shoppe Experience), Fright Pig retreated to a local underground burrow to contemplate his fate. Reeling from the effects of the explosion, he concluded that the world no longer venerated the melodious complexity of Progressive Rock, Fright Pig immediately set out to correct such an oversight. After seven years and several hundred gallons of hard corn syrup (his drink of choice) he emerged with a snarling, yet lovable band of musical porcine mudslingers...and a scintillating Progressive Rock masterwork. His freshman album "Out of the Barnyard" provides a musical glimpse into the hard-bitten world of agrarian dreams and nightmares. It is a world seldom seen and even harder to imagine, but whose ripple effects tug at the very fabric of our being.

Whatever. Maybe Dave or http://www.progarchives.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=16967" rel="nofollow - Fright Pig can provide the full album, bio and band pic for our attention.

Fright Pig here....my apologies for the delay....and I hope that this entry is in the right place!

The album is scheduled to be streamed for a short time on House of Prog in its entirety in the very near future. It's not up yet...I will write in when it is!

http://houseofprog.com/hop/

In addition, I can also provide a CD or two for PA entry consideration and/or review. The bio for the band is essentially what is quoted by seventhsojourn. The band pic is (currently) what you see as my avatar~!

Cheers~!
