I'm including the ones that have Henry Cow members but I always thought the songs that were labelled Henry Cow like "War" were proper Henry Cow songs, and that Dagmar was a singer with Henry Cow at that time. The ones that were released under the moniker of both bands I've listed in this. This is a multiple vote poll.

Yes, those are among my favs too but for some reason I always saw that as just Henry Cow. It's not pop at all, except for War, and Slapp Happy always had that pop element. Agreed...Henry Cow is about as far from pop as the physical universe will allow...though I like the thought of "War" being played on 1975 top40 radio next to the other pop songs like "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Philadelphia Freedom", & "Love Will Keep Us Together"  Also, I just had a look and wiki considers "Desperate Straights" and "In Praise of Learning" as collaborative efforts and lists them under the discographies of both bands, so go figure... ------------- https://wytchcrypt.wixsite.com/mutiny-in-jonestown" rel="nofollow - Mutiny in Jonestown : Progressive Rock Since 1987 |

^ It's ok Robert...you get an "A" for effort. I run many polls, some get 1000+ hits and some just sink like a rock. I voted Me & Parvati, Bad Alchemy, and Small Hands of Stone. If I had to pick just one it would have been Small Hands of Stone, but the other two are close. It too find it very weird that not many people know their music. I wonder if many folks knew that Anthony Moore collaborated with David Gilmour on the later Floyd albums ?? Surely should spark some interest into Slapp Happy ?? I got onto them via Henry Cow - the record fairs here during the 90's had soooo many un-loved treasures waiting to be enjoyed by a new generation of Proggers, it wasn't difficult to come across these LP's on occasion. E-Bay has since killed the opportunity to discover gems at fairs nowadays..... |

I only have the Casablanca Moon/Desperate Straights compilation album, and I've only heard it a few times, but I enjoy it very much. A bunch of great tracks on both albums. My top 10: 1. Dawn 2.
