Progressive-rock super-group Transatlantic, featuring Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, Roine Stolt and Pete Trewavas will release their brand new fourth studio album ‘Kaleidoscope’ on the 27th January 2014. The track-listing for the forthcoming record is as follows and the beautiful artwork for the release can be seen below:

  2. SHINE
  3. BLACK AS THE SKY
  4. BEYOND THE SUN
  5. KALEIDOSCOPE

The band will also embark on a 6-week World Tour that will see them joined once again by Pain of Salvation’s Daniel Gildenlöw as a 5th touring member. As part of the extensive tour, the band will also headline the Progressive Nation At Sea 2014 Cruise from the 18th till the 22nd February alongside 22 other leading Prog acts including Adrian Belew Power Trio, Devin Townsend Project, King's X, Anathema, Spock’s Beard and many more. This unique performance will see the band performing a very special encore of classic Yes material with the legendary Jon Anderson on vocals. Fantastic! The front cover is a little uninteresting, though! If I squint and use my imagination I can almost think it reminds me of Santana's `Borboletta' or something! Hmmm, that's a bit of a stretch when I think about it.

But there seems to be a bit of information missing from your post, Jose, I don't see any Australian tour dates!

Sigh....one day maybe!

^ Ha!! Yes I don't see them going down under! To my knowledge this is their first visit to Seattle as Transatlantic....Neal and Mike have been here several times with Neal Morse and TFK have played here once I think....

Seattle does not get these kind of shows often...its not grunge Wink. Mike was just here 2 weeks ago with Winery Dogs and it sold out, no surprise...Seattle is a huge hard rock/metal fan base.

I will do my usual and have the wife take a ton of pics and post them on a live review for you!

Cheers!

I wonder where in Seattle.  EMP like Neal Morse has done?  I would drive three hours to see them there.

EMP
Moore Theater
or one of the Showbox locations...I would prefer EMP.

Already have my tickets for the Keswick outside Philadelphia, which I'm surprised is still standing as Steve Hackett blew it away with two shows this past weekend!

Welcome to the middle of the film.

I am planning on hitting the San Francisco show, but the official website only gives the date and not the venue.      Anyone know where I can get that info?

Ohh I agree.......I have my tickets already for the Seattle show. The show is at a small venue connected to a shopping mall, so I am sure there will be plenty of screens around showing the game, assuming the Seahawks make it. They are my 2nd favorite NFL team, so its no big deal.

This venue will be tight, comfy, cozy and very loud!

Yaaaaaaay!!! Just got email confirmation that my "package" shipped from Radiant Records today. The Seattle show is Feb 2nd and I was worried the package would not ship till Jan 28th not leaving me much time to enjoy the release.

I ordered the 2-CD/3-LP colored vinyl (of course) package.

The San Francisco show is this weekend. Anybody else coming out? Want to connect up and at least say "Hi?"
