Greetings fellow music nerds, I've begun to embark upon recording my solo album, titled "Elephant Graveyard", it is somewhat of a concept album, or at least there is an overall theme to it. I'm not trying to focus on any real specific genre, but it is definitely influenced by such artists as Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, and Steven Wilson. However on the other end of the spectrum there is definitely heavy influence with a lot of jazz fusion, jazz rock, and electronic rock acts such as Soft Machine, Steely Dan, and Radiohead. So I guess this is more of an Art-rock outing that I am going for, as I've been listening to a hell of a lot of different music all across the board. LOTS of analog synths such as the Moog Minitaur, and mellotron, etc.
I'm just taking this moment to let you all know that recording has begun and I am looking at an official release somewhere in spring of 2014, where it will be released on VINYL, DIGITAL DOWNLOAD, and (in a more limited quantity) COMPACT DISC.
The title track "Elephant Graveyard" has been completely recorded and I am trying to have a good mixdown available for both FREE streaming and FREE download before halloween.
However, in the meantime there will be a regular documentation of the recording process, somewhat of a net-series available for your viewing pleasure on YOUTUBE. And it just so happens that the first webisode is available now! Hope you watch and enjoy it. here's the link:

Hello again, another update! I have released another single called "Can't We Just Pretend?", it's the shortest song I've ever written, clocks in at 2:45, is mostly in the simple key of C, yet the wrench, or the "eyebrows" (as Zappa would explain it) of the tune is that it is in 5/4. It's very beatles/radiohead influenced and I hope you all enjoy it, as usual it is available for free on bandcamp.
The album is still currently being recorded, yet it is on it's way to being just about finished, so I hope you enjoy this single!
