Twelve tracks, totalling around eighty minutes - with another eight purely instrumental versions of the ones with the dreadful vocals! LOL

Musically this is an absolute onslaught of extreme math metal (apart from three short mellow instrumentals - included, I guess, to give your ears a bit of time to recover before the next pounding - and the last track (Affinity) which is 30-minutes long, the last 16 minutes or so being accompanied by narration from a guest female vocalist.

In fact all three vocalists featured here are guests, and the album is said to be a concept album.

There is an interview with the band here: http://www.lordsofmetal.nl/en/interviews/view/id/3712" rel="nofollow - http://www.lordsofmetal.nl/en/interviews/view/id/3712 , and a (not particuarly glowing) review of the 'Ulorja' (anagram of Journal) album here: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/41178/Journal-Unlorja/" rel="nofollow - http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/41178/Journal-Unlorja/ .

Not my type of music at all, but I guess it'll probably fit in Tech/Extreme Prog Metal... Thanos? Embarrassed
