Israeli alternative prog metal band Distorted Harmony, has launched an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign for their second album.

The debut of the band was released on May 2012 and was rated at the top of prog releases of that year. In July 2013 the band was nominated for the “Limelight” (New Blood) award in the prestigious “Progressive Music Awards 2013” held by the British “Prog” magazine.

The band has already written all tracks for the second album and started recording: “This new album is going to be heavier, with song writing that is a lot more focused, mature and coherent. The band as a whole has gotten tighter and the variant music influences of each band member have been carefully balanced and woven into the compositions that will finally become Distorted Harmony’s second album. The new album, is Distorted Harmony at its best.”

The new album is due to be released in March 2014.

I like this band very much. I am glad that the second studio album will be out next year. The debut album Utopia was my favourite prog-metal release of 2012. Smile
