Hello All,
With the new Steven Wilson 5.1 mixes of Yes, Crims & XTC, etc. I was thinking, I wonder if Steven Wilson is a fan of the band Jellyfish?

I'm betting he is, it seems most musicians and studio guys are.

Both of Jellyfish's records (especially Spilt Milk) would be great candidates for the 5.1 treatment.

I wonder if Steven "5.1" Wilson would be up for it?

Does he read the Prog archives forum?

If not, does anyone know how to contact him?

I'm sure Omnivore would put out the album in 5.1, if they could get the legal stuff sorted.

Just a thought.

Out of curiosity, how many Prog fans are fans of Jellyfish?

I like them. Jason Falkner's solo album from '96 is even better though, imo.

The broadminded prog rock blogger in me, would like to think Steven Wilson digs Jellyfish... ( I can't see how such an epicurean,  hedonistic lover of progressive music like SW could not!)

But hey! Dudes and progettes, the dude/Men in Jellyfish...of which drummer Andy Sturmer is one...Are certainly,  more than able,  of remixing  a super-duper 5.1 Surround Sound version of all the Jellyfish albums,,,  After all... Jellyfish is Freddie Mercury and Beach Boys one night stand on top of slippery surf board.
If Andy Sturmer re-mixes the Jellyfish albums for Japan,  then they will be temporary tremendous hits, because Andy is Big in Japan!....If Steven Wilson remixed Jellyfish for the Euro-Western Hemisphere crowd, I'm sure there would be a brief feeding frenzy on all the Jellyfish albums  by prog-sharks and alternative-rock-stingrays! Cool
