Topic: Unable to Post Reviews

Subject: Unable to Post Reviews

The problem is that I have written 3 reviews but do not appear. I read guidelines and it seem to me that just written it should appear on home page, or anyway in personal edit reviews.
I thought that probably someone must read them and after decided whether to publish or not.
Someone in My presentation post told me that I must to review, and after to rate album, but no still results.
Does someone let me know if I've done any errors and maybe tell me the correct procedure?
Thank to all...

Hm... it looks like you have plenty of ratings only going on for you.

Let's see if we can check some stuff off:
  • Are your reviews 100 words?
  • Did you select a star rating below your review?
  • Did you accept the Progarchives guidelines before you submitted your review?
  • Did you rate the album using quick rate before submitting a review?
These are a few common problems with review posting. If not, PM me and we can do some more administrative solutions.

Thanks for help. Big smile
A member told me that maybe is because I have written a few post (only 22) must write at least 50 right??
Need two login right??

Anyhow I explain which passages I do:
1-Login in forum zone;
2-Login in member/collaborators zone
3-By the same page I choose an album to review
4- at the end of page in the box write less than 100 words (words counter)
5-I rate album (1-5 stars)
6- Accepts terms and Submit ( purple button at the end of page )
If you want I send you my reviews for a look...

I think number 4 is your issue - reviews must be more than 100 words or else they will not be published.

Ok, right... I'll try.
Do you think is also for 50 posts that I might do??
And login must done first in forum zone, after in collaborators/member zone?
Last request... Do you think I can rewrite reviews for first 4 album that I've done previously??
If yes how?

Thanks a lot!!!Bowdown

The forum and the main page don't have much to do with each other, so the forum post count and logging in on the forum are not necessary for reviewing.

And by reviewing albums that you've already done, do you mean already reviewed? Because if so, there is a way.
  1. Log in to the main site at the collab/member login section and you'll see this, with your username instead of mine of course
  2. Hit "Edit your old reviews & ratings"
  3. These are some of my recent reviews. You can edit any rating or review you've ever done on the site by hitting that little notepad icon ( http://www.progarchives.com/EditReview.asp?revid=1085405" rel="nofollow"> )
  4. From there, edit as you like!
Hope this helps.

Oh, I see what you mean. Because no review was posted, the system sadly did not save the review. You can write a new review from that empty box, but you cannot salvage your old reviews.

Good day! This topic is somewhat close to what I was searching for.
If we previously gave a star rating to an album, then later return for adding a worded review, the worded review does not get posted to the main page. Is there a way to make those updated full reviews visible on the home page?
Thanks for any help and sorry if this has been addressed in nausea in other forums.

^ If you've rated the album before and you'd like to review it and see your review on the main PA page you have to ask some Admin to delete your rating (sending him your name and address on the back side of $100 bank-note does not hurt either Smile) and, when your rating is deleted, submit a review.

Are you logged in on the main site as well? The forum and the site work on individual login servers.

I made the registration and I logged here   http://www.progarchives.com/all_collaborators.asp" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/all_collaborators.asp
When i want to rate an album the site asks me to log in by this page  http://www.progarchives.com/forum/registration_rules.asp?FID=0" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/registration_rules.asp?FID=0    but the rating options disappear.

Fortunately I solved. But now I have another problem which I'll talk in another post.
 Handshake Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Andy Webb's instructions in this post are perfect. Follow this advice I was able to write reviews.
