Leo Koperdraat, vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player with this band, posted about them in Welcome Artists forum on 1st January: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=96517" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=96517 .

They are also on progstreaming, but not for much longer: http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/pages/play-album.php?activeAlbum=00582+-+Fractal+Mirror+-+Strange+Attractors" rel="nofollow - http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/pages/play-album.php?activeAlbum=00582+-+Fractal+Mirror+-+Strange+Attractors .

Not to worry though - the album is on bandcamp: http://fractalmirror.bandcamp.com/" rel="nofollow - http://fractalmirror.bandcamp.com/ .  Smile

Uwe added the band to progfreak at about the same time as Leo's post: http://progfreak.com/Fractal-Mirror-158145.html" rel="nofollow - http://progfreak.com/Fractal-Mirror-158145.html  - no team has taken up the baton as yet though. Maybe they aren't considered prog enough?  Well let's see anyway. Embarrassed

Good luck Leo! Tongue

I hear a lot of symph trades spread out about in the album - especially the usage of the mellotron suggests an act much enamoured with the olden days of pork rock. I do however think the songwriting is more akin to mainstream rock and structures, so I'm sending them to xover.

Thank you very much Yam Yam!! We don't call ourselves a Progressive Rock band but we certainly all very fond of all things Progrock ;-). You are quite right Guldbamsen; our songstructures and melodies are mainstream rock but I think there is enough in the music that will interest prog rock lovers. I think we are definitely cross over prog!
