| Henry Cow, though it's hard to compare them. Henry Cow have a much larger body of work to investigate. Maybe comparing Leg End to This heat's debut would be fairer though I'd still go with Henry Cow. This Heat are really interesting but there's something quite puritanical and dreary about them that puts me off (I'm sure that's part of their appeal for their fans though). |

perhaps this one was a misstep  I was going to put maudlin of the Well instead of This Heat, but what with agi's recent poll, I felt I should change it.
