I speculate based on the nature of the clips I heard that it's because they're planning on going in a different direction from the one they took with TMV. They're too small to judge what that direction will be as of yet, though. |

TMV's life ended. A new band needed to be made. I was watching these things yesterday and was very excited. My two favorite musical people out there. ------------- Crushed like a rose in the riverflow. |

Their first single "4AM" is out now on Itunes. This is more alternative music and I don't think it will sound like the mars volta, hence the new band name. Still I will look foward to that new album
