I've got a bit of a soft spot for Captain Beefheart. I'm not one of those people who call it an ingenious masterpiece, but it feels really warm and risk-taking. One of my favourite RIO albums Smile

And Xonty and Phil. I figured that having Area in there would split some votes between these two but it appears Area is moving on. I've never liked the cover art though on that Area album but it's the music that counts.
