Ithink that at least his first album "Over The Top" is a pure prog album, and on that strength, he should be included.

I don't know about Cozy Powell...

Is he from Emerson, Lake & Powell,or you are refering to a different musician?

Of course he should! His three solo albums are excellent, and his death was a tragic loss to the world of rock music.

Totally agree.

Good showman as well, like the story about how the fireworks attached to his drum kit blew holes in the roof at one venue when he was in ELPowell.

I have not heard his solo albums, but he was fantastic when he was in Rainbow, to f**king bad they split up i whuld have loved some more albums from the line up that did "Rising" And then when Dio "left/was kicked out" they turned in to one of the most awfull bands ever

I trust you guys and vote yes

Your comment is misspelled and without any intelligent basis.

ELPowell is better than half of the ELPalmer albums, including Works, Works 2, Love Beach, Black Moon, Hot Seat, and imho, Pictures.

Yeah, he's the same. Besides ELPowell, he's done a number of solo albums, and played for just about every hard rock band around, most notably Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, during its '76-'79 peak.

Great musician ,played with almost everybody...Malmsteen,Black sabbath,Rainbow,Whitesnake,Emerson & Lake...

I think though that in the Emerson Lake and Powell album his drumming is not very prog.He was a power drummer actually...

He wa actually more of a prog drummer on his solo albums and some of the earlier Rainbow albums than he was with ELP!

Should he be in? Yes..,well he's a lot more prog than Queen (well everything is a lot more prog than Queen but ...oh well).
