First time I heard High Tide in the end of 1990s. It was two early albums. I was amazed by their music. But now I'm hearing their latest albums, and I think A Fierce Nature is their best record. And what is your opinion?

A propos, recommend me similar bands please...

1970 High Tide

I haven't heard all of their later albums, but none of those that I've heard had any impression on me.

The self titled second one is my pick. I know the debut gets most of the love but the second one sounds much better and I like the songs better.

I only know Sea Shanties and the second S/T. It's the debut which I still listen to, I remember the second album was quite irritating because of that relentless violin.
But Sea Shanties must be the most noisy and heavy album of the 60's.

I too have only heard the first two.  Sea Shanties is the winner for me but I won't vote.

I need to spin the second album because I can find too much violin annoying too. Sea Shanties had really poor sound quality, at least the version I have does.

I only know the first 2 and personally I like the first one better.
Sea Shanties, oddly enough, was one of those I bought early on when exploring more obscure albums .
