New guy here, prog fan of around 5 years.  My current interests are Symphony X, Distorted Harmony, Anubis Gate, and Dream Theater.  I have respect for the musical side of pre-90s prog, but it is not my preference as timbre is a concern of mine.  I'm constantly in search of new, intriguing music.  I have a very expansive collection of music and would like ot think that I can contribute a good bit.

I've been playing guitar for 10 years, composing for 8, teaching for 7, and have recently gotten into learning the drums.

My main rig is an Ibanez 7620 through a tubed Line 6 for the time being.  I write, record, mix, and master everything that I write.  When I can't find something that I want to hear, I write it.

I'm also into sport/race ATVs and small engine building amongst other things.

I'm new to this forum, not to the subject that draws me here.
