started releasing some albums of solo acoustic guitar in the late
2000's but he does have one more interesting album in 1981 called 'Ocean
Of Arts'. I don't know if it's clear cut symphonic because the album is
switching between songs inspired by symphonic acts and sometimes more
pastoral and acoustic. I reckon It needs to go to over the dandelion patch for the initial eval - the other two albums he's done certainly aren't symphonic, and I doubt that there is enough material in 'Oceans Of Art' that is to satisfy the orchestral boys. So, either the topic title needs amending to include 'Prog Folk' in it so that either Bob or Ken can spot it, or a note needs dropping in their team thread. If the folkies don't feel that Rudy is quite in their style then they can pass him on to Crossover to see if he can be accomodated there.

I prefer to stay a bit away for a few days regarding a bump on a team thread to avoid any false alert, it might be not a pure symphonic album, but it has strong symphonic hints and considering Perrone's past with Cathedral, which are also in symphonic, maybe the guys there want to pick it up themselves after hearing the samples for a more proper evaluation...or maybe the dandelions hurry and get it for themselves, who knows...Let's see how it goes at least for the next couple of days. ------------- When the power of love overcomes the love of power,the world will know peace... listen to www.justincaseradio.com , the first ever Greek Progressive Rock radio |

It was the other two albums which made me think he might best be looked at by Prog Folk team rather than the Symphonic one. His solo discography looked at as a whole would perhaps not include sufficient music with a symphonic influence for him to be considered a Symphonic Prog artist first and foremost, even though he was formerly part of the Symphonic Prog band Cathedral. I expect he will eventually find his correct home on here in the fullness of time whichever team actually starts the ball rolling.

The first album could go either way (Crossover or Prog Folk) IMHO. The second and third albums are on Spotify and they consist pretty much of all acoustic guitar instrumentals. Some of those sound a bit like Neo to me but hey, it's acoustic guitar so overall Prog Folk seems like the right place.
