I'm born in 62 so there is a lot of bands from the Seventies :
Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Tangerine Dream, King Crimson, Eloy, Amon Duul, Nektar, Ange, Magma, Rush, Grobschnitt, Hawkwind, Jane, Omega, Mythos, Heldon & Richard Pinhas, Can,Mike Oldfield.

Usually just in my head. I always seem to be missing pen/paper or a guitar when the music hits me. I probably could have had an album's worth of material this year along if I just stopped and hummed the music into a recorder to create something with at a later date.
