So the story goes, 29 year old grad student from Canada here, I love the trippier sides of prog and the idea of fusion of all genres. I dig blues, jazz, rock music from the late 60s/early 70s, 80s thrash metal is awesome, and I'm big on 90s stoner rock and beyond. I'm also really excited for the new Pink Floyd album, I vividly remember the release of Division Bell when I was only 9 years old. I currently play in two bands, one is just starting out and we decided to record excerpts from our first band practice, the first time the four of us had played together. I encourage you guys to check it out, it has that immediacy of a fresh jam popping into our heads all at the same time, which I think bodes well for the future of any band.
