Anything that tries to fix the broken system of music distribution is a
welcome change in my view. I don't know if it'll catch on or not, but
I applaud him for the effort. It's a step in the right direction. I think it makes sense financially. Cheap digital copy that bypasses any third party, and an expensive special edition vinyl. The digital copy is $6 and the vinyl is $50. From what I've read about music revenue and whatnot, this may be a winning model. I personally love the peer-to-peer aspect. Free internets ftw. |

This is a very important topic. Why is it in the General Music discussions? Thom Yorke is listed in PA as Crossover Prog. So shouldn't this topic be in the Prog section? It's Sunday night in Oz and I have nothing to do. |
