1 stars Lets start this review with positive arguments. This is good music, mostly. The other review praise this much. I wouldn't so much. There is actually nothing special in this. Maby if you are a rock oriented listener this might be even awsome but actually there is nothing new here. They say that this is complex music with polyrhythms and all. I hear a drum loop there even though there is a real drummer mentioned in the credits. Maby he did the programming. Somebody mentioned thet this is guitar exploration in Frippian style. Yes, that is true. But there is nothing here that Fripp and Belew would not have done already better. And then if you turn to fusion jazz or real avantgarde this is oldfashioned and dull. Try Scorch trio instead.

The band is listed under progressive metal. I wonder why. This is not metall in any sense. This is ambient, transcendental, jazzy new wave. And how about progressive? No way! Nothing progresses here. So if you are after progressive music check something else, if you want metall try metall bands. But if you afre looking for skillfull and enjoyable rough meditation music this might be for you. As prog record only completionists of band family albums should bother. One star.
