3 stars H7G which stands for HIMNO DE LA SÉPTIMA GALAXIA translates into "Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy" taken from the famous Return To Forever album but there are no influences from that band or any other jazz-fusion here. This is predominantly based in space-rock and symphonic prog with some prog metal thrown into the mix. This is only prog band i've come across from the Central American country of Costa Rica. ESCLAVO DE LA MÁQUINA is their debut album that was released in 2012 and at a short timespan of 33:21 is short enough to qualify as an EP.

This album is really a jam album where long interplay between instruments is the dominant theme. There is a lot of instrumental meandering that takes you on a spaced out journey. I prefer the last two tracks because they are a lot more dynamic and present some good guitar work and some ripping keyboards as well. A good debut album that shows some promise but nothing on here really stands out as top notch quality either.
