2 stars Experimetal, Post Rock or whatever you want to named it... Since I'm trying to get into this world I found some really interesting bands (GYBE, Red Sparowes, Magyar Posse, A Silver Mt. Zion, etc) and just the last week I found this album. I heard some good critics about GIAA and I decided to give the album a chance... but I'm writing these review a little dissapointed because nothing in the 11 songs surprised me.

OK, the album is like an aerial journey and very catchy during the first three or four songs but after that everything sounds monotonous. You can hear some psychedelic stuff, some dark electronic bases, interesting guitar arrangements, obscure athmospheres but I feel a lack of inspiration in every track. Is not a bad album but after some minutes every song turns into a repetitive mixture of musical elements.

In fact maybe this album is a kind of guide to introuduce anyone into other bands that make Experimetal stuff, darker and harder, but GIAA first album is not my cup of tea even when sounds good to be in your ears during a long travel across the desert...
