4 stars To be honest, I never saw that BBC documentary movie which this music was written for. But I can easily believe that it's the best kind of music for any educational TV film about sea nature, oceanic surfs, high tides, low tides, coastal ecosystems etc. Ethereal, dreamy, panoramic. And this time, unlike Legend, the album really has turned out, the tracks put together did form a whole. The problem is that I failed to concentrate on listening every time I listened to it. What about you dear colleagues? Is this just a personal defect of my perception? or an immanent feature of the music? Probably it's so hypnotic that you are distracted from getting into it and start to think about outside matters after a few minutes of listening. Elusive music, indeed. Caressing your ear and elusive. I listened to Atlantic Realm more than twenty times but still don't remember any theme from it. Oh, sorry, with the only exception: the instrumental excerpt from World Of Difference in the end of side two (I had Atlantic Realm on original vinyl). But it's just because I like the song very much. Besides that, in my terms, the album is too short. I'd prefer it to be double. It's not good if a pleasure ends too soon.
