4 stars Solid, rocking Heep. Living The Dream is an excellent collection of songs that range from heavy rock to almost metal on tracks like "Goodbye To Innocence." But the heaviness is tasteful, and Uriah Heep always has some prog in their formula. However, this is light on the prog in favor of a harder hitting release. You will still hear the classic, proggier Heep prominently on tracks like the keyboard-driven "It's All Been Said." This is a fantastic release that merges the past and present while maintaining the highest level of musicianship. The best track could be Take Away My Soul, which features some excellent guitar solos. Living The Dream remains an accessible release that many people with different tastes can enjoy. The longest epic for the proggiest ears is Rocks in the Road, and there is enough variety to satisfy everyone. I picked this up at the same time as the 2017 release of Demons and Wizards, and the sound quality on that blew me away. Living The Dream is competing with that and the other remasters at the moment, but the stellar musicianship and songwriting continues to amaze.
