4 stars Another stellar release from Ozric Tentacles. Technicians Of The Sacred is the first double CD release since Erpland, and there are no fillers. It is more of the same from a band with a unique sound, but that has never been a bad thing when the music has a strangely addicting quality warranting revisits. This instrumental space rock outfit has an insane amount of albums with music that is so similar, but I never get bored or tire of any of it. They innovate with the spacial sounds, but maintain a signature sound of cool beats with sublime bass lines and impeccable drumming. The programming, vision, and compositions to make an album like this is breathtaking. It is hard to imagine how it is done, but the reward is worth it. Just stunning.
