2 stars This was my first ever Rainbow album well over twenty years ago and I really liked it back then. An emotional journey back in time reveals that I have been on a long musical journey during these last twenty years. This album has therefore been left behind. It is better to let the memories rest in peace than forcing myself to confront my previous fondness for this album.

The opening track is good. It is pretty much down the Deep Purple alley. Yes, Highway Star it is. The rest is 1970's AOR type hard rock with Ritchie Blackmore added to the mix. Bands like Rainbow, Bad Company, Whitesnake and Deep Purple has the same kind of sound like this. The music here is pretty good, but nothing more. There is no real Rainbow classics on this album. The word I would use about this album is OK. I am afraid it falls by the wayside and I am off to listen to some better music than this. But thanx for the memories.
