4 stars The first studio album of this band starts with a dark soundscape, where bass and drums enter, creating surface for an oppressing guitar chords to start the hypnotic musical trip. This fine angry stuff has been done with quite nice sense of style, it doesn't go too modern metal sounds, but still from the vintage tones rises a really hard and heavy approach. After the album's title song, "Perdido En El Espacio" returns from the fade out with more garage rock oriented lighter sound, with some Hawkwind resembling elements present. Interesting effect switches in the throttle of slow acid blues in following "A Tres Mil Años Blues", a fine dramatic progression later evolves as faster stoner rock. "Ruge" calms the record with a pretty acoustic style, featuring some singing, guitar solos and hazy psychedelic effects. The nin "La Señal", calm loose chords open the track, entering vocals give hint of approaching storm and the pressure gets heavier, and the tension is released in heavy stoner rock section. "Empírea" is the longest track here, opened by short ambience, developing patiently with neat theme alterations heavier in style characteristic to this fine group. The record closes with a more traditional garage punk sounds of the song "Cabalgando En La Oscuridad". Anybody interested of raw, trashy and heavy vintage psychedelic rock with stoner rock influences should check this record and band out, if not yet familiar.
