3 stars Interesting compilation with 13 digitally remastered classics and 2 new songs. In my opinion 'The Heart Of Chicago' is more important if AOR Chicago's music please you because the Jazz Rock songs are too few with the importance and the space that they deserve. But in any case my opinion is that 'The Heart Of Chicago 1967- 1997' is a positive compilation.

Certainly this compilation remember me the similar (for construction) Toto's 'Past to Present 1977-1990', another good AOR compilation. But in the case of Chicago is present also JR, although in the form of fusion between different genres (and in some cases becoming POP!).

In definitive 'The Heart Of Chicago 1967- 1997' is a compilation that is indicate when you driving during a long journey. But nothing more.
