3 stars The Last Live recordings with Miles, recorded 1988-1991. The albums show a relatively light Miles. Tracks related to jazz / fussion, some funky moments, bit of blues jazz, but never the hardcore Avantgarde. Sometimes even very melodic allmost a POP feel to some tracks. But mostly a solid Jazz, well played, Yo man. As always Miles playing his lounges out, no matter if its a slow ballad or a highspeed fussion, he does what he does so perfectly. The Band dooing good, especialy the Bass and Percussions.

No new ground breaking here, just a good Miles album, live at the autum of his life. Not a recording that fits a prog. webside, not even an essiential jazz recording, just a good solid Miles album, that a miles lover wont regret investing in.

2 or 3 stars ? I will round this one up, to harsh calling Live Around the World a collectors only. Might as well work out as an introdution to a new Miles listner, later working towards more complicated Miles albums from here.

Good Collectors/Fan/Jazz investment.
