MARBLES

My first Marillion album- wow! The opening track blew my mind and seems to get better every time I hear it. I have one major problem with the album- "You're Gone" - which bluntly put, is too embarrassing to play in front of friends. But, it's one terrible pop song surrounded by genius, so I just suck it up and listen to it when I play the album.

If you like beautiful sounds, with great album structure, and dark/brooding lyrics, this one should be right up your alley. It starts and ends very strongly, with recurring themes throughout- mainly that the protagonist is crazy.

I love it.
