THE WALKABOUT OF A. NEXTER NIODE, PART 2 - SEXUS

House Of Not is a four piece band from Canada with guest musicians on mandolin, bass, keyboards, drums, didgeridoo, trombone and background vocals. The music on their second album has a lot of variation, that is one part of the music, the other part is the fact that at least half of the compositions has strong echoes from Pink Floyd (compelling and bombastic featuring howling electric guitarplay) and Roger Waters solo (vocals and acoustic guitar). At some moments you got the idea that you are listening to 'lost legendary tapes'! Remarkable are songs with 'honky tonk piano'' or an acoustic guitar/piano duet or a didgeridoo, a wide range of instruments that makes this CD to an intersesting one, especially for the Floyd and Waters fans.
